Clothing Marker with Laundry Ink

If you are a parent and have a child at school, you will probably have gone through the mixed emotions of having your child come home from school minus an article of clothing - especially on a day where there was sport and a change of clothing took place at school.

Aside from the monetary loss, you now have another item at the bottom of your already long to-do list.

The good news is that we have a cost-effective and simple solution for you. The Trodat Clothing Marker comes with a special laundry ink. No need for additional time sewing in labels, simply stamp your child's details on the inside of the collar or sleeve in seconds. The impression is good for up to 100 washes and when it does eventually start to fade, you can simply stamp the details in again.

The stamp has enough space for up to 3 lines of customised text, although most of our clients only use 2 lines and make the text a bit bigger. At this stage, we the laundry ink only comes in black so is most suitable for lighter coloured clothing.

If you have two or more children, take advantage of our special discounted rates for multiple stamp orders.

We now also offer a sticker and label printing service, so why not also order a set of labels for your child's stationery and books. Our standard pack has 209 labels in an assortment of shapes and sizes. If you order your personalised labels online you automatically get a 10% discount. Order Now.

The range currently comes in three sizes:

·         51mm Diameter (Round)
·         41mm Diameter (Round)
·         51mm x 25mm  (Rectangle)

Whether it is a company logo, a private address or something creative: there are no limits to the number of applications for the new Trodat Ideal Embosser.  Why not make your documents even more beautiful with an elegant impression.  The new Trodat Ideal Seal Press is equally well suited as a desktop and pocket seal, with an eye-catching and modern design.  You can create a beautiful and detailed impression with minimal effort.

Features and Benefits:
  • Perfect Impression Quality – clear indication when impression is made properly (Click)
  • Precise Impression Positioning
  • Ergonomic & Lightweight – smallest effort to make an impression
  • Use as a Pocket Seal or a Desk Seal
  • Easy and Intuitive Die Holder Change
  • Easy Storage

How does Embossing work?

You send us a design and/or logo and we create a male and a female plate out of a hard and durable material called Delrin.  These plates are then perfect aligned and mounted onto the die holder, which is placed into the embosser.  The paper that is to be embossed is then placed in between the male and female plates.

The male Delrin plate is mounted at the bottom of the die holder.  When pressure is applied to the handle of the embosser, the plates are forced closed and the male plate pushes up and through the paper, creating a raised impression of the artwork on the paper.

Although the embosser will still make an impression on thicker paper, we can only guarantee a perfect impression if the paper is 80gsm or less.

Uses for the new Trodat Ideal Seal (Embosser)?

Embossers are used for a variety of different purposes and by different industries/professions.  These include:
  • Branding – add a creative and professional touch to your letterhead, compliment slips and training certificates
  • Legal – we have a standard layout which is used by conveyancers.  Attorneys also use embossers for certain legal documents
  • Crafting – there are numerous applications for crafters
  • Fraud Prevention – many training providers now use embossers on their training certificates to prevent them being fraudulently reproduced (see below)
When designing your embosser template, which could be an exact replica of your logo, you can add in a little signet that no one else will pick up. Be it an extra line somewhere, or even a dot in the middle of the logo. It is almost impossible to replicate an embosser seal, as only you would know where to find your trademark security measure. You can also change your embosser template, if you feel the need. It can be easily removed and replaced with a new design.

Therefore, if someone were to present a certificate or docket, claiming that it is from your institute/company, you can immediately tell if it is a fake or not. It is equally important to make all companies that you are affiliated with aware of your new security measures, so they do not fall pray to fraudsters either.

Taking this all into account, makes your learners/employees feel more at ease (their hard work cannot be simply replicated), your affiliates will have a new sense of security as they will not have a problem of having ‘fraudsters’ working for them, and you lose the extra worry of having copy cats reproducing your academic/organisational documentation.

Many companies purchase Gold/Silver labels (as per the image above).  They then emboss these and stick them onto their documents/certificates.  This is particularly useful if the area you have available is well in from the page margin and the embosser won’t reach.  It also gives the certificate or document a more professional look and feel.  It is still possible to stick the label onto the paper first and then emboss the label.

We stock 50mm and 60mm labels in Gold and Silver.  They are suitable for the 41mm and 51mm embosser respectively.

How can we help?

RubberStampSA.co.za turned 7 years old last month and we have had absolutely fantastic support from all corners of South Africa over the years.  In a recent discussion at the office, we started thinking about how we could give a little bit back to the community.

Being a small company (by corporate standards), we unfortunately don't have a huge budget for this, but we thought that, like all exciting journeys, we should start with one small step.  After much deliberation and debate, we believe we have come up with an idea that will serve the dual purpose of assisting Non Profit Organisations (NPO) with their admin and giving them a platform to promote their organisation.

So.... if you are a registered NPO and need a Rubber Stamp to make your office admin a little bit easier, simply go to our FaceBook Page and tell us (and our Fans) about your organisation.  The platform is yours, so feel free to include a picture, a link to your website or Facebook page and a short post about the organisation and its beneficiaries.

We will then send you a discount code which can be used at any stage within the next 6 months to purchase a Rubber Stamp at a 50% discount.  We are not sure what the response is going to be like, so we will be running this initially till the end of the year.  If we get a great response, we will continue the initiative.  In fact, we would like to take this a step further and do a monthly poll on our FaceBook Page that will enable our Fans to vote for the most deserving or needy NGO.  The monthly winner would then receive a donation from us - but we are getting ahead of ourselves :) - let's see how we go.

If you know of any NGO's that may benefit from the stamp or the opportunity to gain a little bit of free exposure, we would be grateful if you could pass on the information.

We look forward to hearing from you!

regards
Gary

The first climate-neutral Rubber Stamp

Trodat are once again setting the pace with the first ever climate-neutral stamp.  This is one of the reasons why we chose to partner exclusively with Trodat right from the outset.  One would think that it would be hard to innovate with a product that is ostensibly very simple, but they have a strong R&D team and are very close to the needs of both the end customer and the Rubber Stamp manufacturers.

There products are sometimes more expensive than that of their competitors, but the quality is difficult to beat and the team at Trodat take a long-term view on relationships with their business partners.

We look forward to receiving our first batch of new stamps and look forward to the next innovation from Trodat.

You can read more about the stamp (Printy 4.0) and its features on the Trodat Website.

New Product - Trodat Mobile Marker

Trodat have just launched the long-awaited mobile marker into South Africa. We got a sneak preview of this stamp late last year and were extremely impressed. As with all Trodat's products, the stamp has been ergonomically designed and will definitely fill a gap in the mobile rubber stamp market.

This stamp is ideal for people who need a rubber stamp with them all the time. It can be clipped to your shirt/coat pocket and opens and closes very easily without getting any ink on your fingers. The stamp is self-inking which means you do not have to carry an inkpad around with you. Look our for some launch specials on our website soon.
